The library of TUK Arts College was founded in 1938. The library which was founded with 2000 books, has now several thousands of books. Today the library has treasured with 33,839 books on different subjects. Further more than 25 periodicals and daily newspaper both in English and Tamil are available for the students. They are arranged in such a way that they are easily accessible to the students. |

A reading hall with adequate furniture’s, proper ventilation and calm atmosphere is attached to the library for the use of the students. |
Section for competitive examination |

From 1912, a separate section has been functioning for preparing the competitive examinations. In this section hundreds of books are arranged separately according to the syllabi of the Union Public Service Commissions, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and other competitive Examinations both at state & central level. |

Research scholars from other colleges and other universities review the literature available in our library especially for Tamil. |
|
Hostel facility is available for girls separately. |
|
Government scholarships are arranged for eligible students of all classes. |
